Red WineLocated midway between Cambridge and Te Awamutu in New Zealand's North Island, in a warm secluded valley well sheltered from the south, is Judge Valley Vineyard.
Planted on steep north-facing slopes, Judge Valley is Waikato's only vineyard planted on clay-based ash soils.
Established in 1997, the vineyard is totally quality-driven, and specialises in Bordeaux-style red wine. It is privately owned and managed by New Zealander Kevin Geraghty.
All vines are hand-managed, harvesting is by hand, and every bottle of Judge Valley wine is made from grapes grown on the property.
Our aim is to consistently produce top-quality, award-winning, Premium Red Wine, and to establish a reputation as a vineyard where the passion is quality, not quantity.
Weddings
Our purpose built Function Centre which opened in November 2006 specialises in weddings and also provides an excpetional venue for family celebrations, corporate events, social occasions and wine-tastings.
